The Legislative Committee will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 12:30 p.m.

The Legislative Committee was established on June 3, 2025, as a standing committee of the whole Board and will serve as a forum in which relevant information on legislative matters is presented and recommendations regarding the Board's annual legislative agenda are discussed.  The Legislative Committee will focus on key policy areas, including land use, transportation, public safety, and government operations to ensure that state and federal legislation actions support the County's long-term goals and community needs.
